Hungary says Szalai is stable after collapsing during Nations League game

There was a thrilling incident during the UEFA Nations League League A Group 3 match where the Netherlands crushed Hungary 4-0 on November 16 when Adam Szalai, the 36-year-old assistant coach of the Hungarian national team, fainted on the sidelines in the 7th minute of the match.

During the first aid, players and coaching staff from both teams tried to stand in a line to block the view of the fans. Adam Szalai is a former Hungarian international forward who played mostly in the German Bundesliga and for Real Madrid’s B team, while at international level he won 86 caps before retiring in 2023 and becoming part of the coaching staff.
